“This wasn’t a shock to me per se, because for over this past week I have had COVID-19 symptoms,” the granddaughter of Grace Kelly continued.
“I have been really cautious. I have been social distancing. I only go out to get the groceries and I always wear a mask and sanitise.”
“I have unfortunately seen a lot of people around me who have not been abiding by the rules and that scares me because I think a lot of people are over it,” she added.
“I hope I can help at least one person today with this personal testament because over this past week I’ve fallen really ill.”

Jazmin, who is currently living in New York City, urged her followers to take the virus seriously.
“We don’t know enough and even if we are young and resilient enough to fight it off, I don’t wish it on anyone. And we don’t know how each of our bodies is going to handle it, so I am a survivor and I’m getting through this and I’m so thankful for that,” she mused.

“We’re all human begins. I know a lot of us will get it. It’s scary and I just want everyone, especially in the United States, to take it seriously.”
With the United States at the epicentre of the pandemic, Jazmin signed off her post with an important message.
“It will continue to persist if we take proper action now. It’s not political, it’s about our health,” she concluded, while asking her followers to wear a mask, sanitise and practice social distancing.

Jazmin first rose to fame at the tender age of 14 when her father publicly acknowledged her as his daughter. The pair had previously met behind closed doors in Monaco when she was 11.
Jazmin, whose mother Tamara Rotolo had a three week fling with the Prince during a holiday to the French Riviera in 1991, isn’t the only child of Prince Albert.
Albert is also the father to Alexandre Coste, 16, who he welcomed in 2003 after a secret six year relationship with flight attendant Nicole Coste.
Because Jazmin and Alexandre were born out of wedlock, and as Article 10 of the Constitution of Monaco dictates, they cannot be royal nor inherit the throne.
